Non-Profit Business Plan Template (MS Word)

A business plan is a roadmap. It shows where your organization is now, where you want to go, and how to get there.

While it may be best to write your own business plan from scratch (see the Resource Library article, "Writing a Nonprofit Business Plan"), this MS Word template provides the essentials, along with prompts to add specific details relating to your own organization. Like all templates, it cannot take into account all the variables that affect a specific organization, but it does allow you to edit so that it reflects your organization more effectively.

Rehearsal run sheet

A stage rehearsal run sheet, like this one (in MS Word), is a detailed document used by a stage manager to outline the planned activities for a rehearsal, including scene breakdowns, blocking notes, technical cues (lights, sound), costume changes, and any other important details needed to efficiently run the rehearsal, essentially acting as a roadmap for the entire session.

Audition Form

Two-sided form (editable MS Word).

Front side is for the person auditioning, where they give their contact information, stage experience, and availability during the rehearsal/production period.  Back side is for the director's comments.

Director Agreement

This form is designed for those not represented by the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. Note that these forms do not give the director and choreographer any subsidiary rights participation. However, they do offer guarantees of future employment in brackets, which may be retained or stricken as the parties choose. They also give the director and choreographer rights to copyright their work, provided their copyrights do not interfere with the author's copyright of his play. Remember, however, that these clauses are negotiable.

Consent to Perform Nude

Whenever a producer expects a performer to appear nude in a production, he should obtain written consent from the actor. Actors' Equity Association specifically requires this. Even if the theater company is non-Equity, it behooves both the producer and the performer to reach a written agreement on the issue. [MS Word format]
