Our Spring/Summer 2026 youth musical is The Lion King Jr., featuring performers ages 8–16. Stage Manager Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Stage Manager to coordinate rehearsals and backstage operations for The Lion King Jr.. This role is essential to ensuring smooth communication, scheduling, and performance execution. Key Dates: Letters of Intent & Resumes Due: November 28, 2025 Production Meetings Begin: February 2026 Auditions: March 2026 Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Thursdays starting April 2026 Performances: Five shows across two weekends in May–June 2026 Responsibilities: Manage rehearsal schedules and attendance Serve as liaison between director, cast, and production team Maintain prompt books and cue sheets Oversee backstage operations during performances Ensure safety and organization of cast and crew Support youth performers with professionalism and care Qualifications: Experience stage managing theater productions (youth experience preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Familiarity with outdoor performance logistics is a plus Commitment to CTIP’s values of inclusion, education, and outreach Compensation: This is a volunteer role with potential for a modest stipend based on fundraising outcomes.
