REFUND POLICY

AACTFest & YouthFest 2025

The following refund policy applies to all AACTFest and YouthFest activities and events:

  • Transfer/substitution requests are welcome through June 7, 2025.

  • Refunds, minus a 20% cancellation fee, will be issued if a cancellation request is received in writing by May 31, 2025.

Code of Conduct

Welcome to AACTFest and YouthFest! We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all attendees, staff, performers, and vendors. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we ask that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct. By attending AACTFest or YouthFest, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

RESPECT FOR OTHERS

  • Treat all attendees, staff, performers, vendors, and volunteers with kindness, respect, and dignity.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind (including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or appearance) will not be tolerated.
  • Be mindful of your language and behavior. Offensive or inappropriate actions may result in removal from the festival.

SAFETY FIRST

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by festival staff, security, and emergency personnel.
  • Do not bring prohibited items (e.g., weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, or any item that could endanger others).
  • Report any unsafe conditions, suspicious behavior, or emergencies to festival staff immediately.
  • Stay hydrated, take breaks, and look out for your own well-being and that of others.

COMMUNITY

  • Celebrate diversity and embrace the unique perspectives of others.
  • Be open to new experiences, cultures, and ideas.
  • Respect the personal space and boundaries of others.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • Help keep the festival clean by disposing of trash and recycling in designated bins.
  • Minimize waste by using reusable water bottles, containers, and utensils.

SUBSTANCE USE

  • The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Alcohol consumption is only permitted in designated areas for those of legal drinking age.
  • Intoxication that disrupts the festival experience for others will not be tolerated.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING

  • Respect the privacy of others. Always ask for consent before taking photos or videos of individuals.
  • Unauthorized commercial photography or recording of performances is prohibited.
  • Follow any specific guidelines set by performers or festival staff regarding photography.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND FESTIVAL RULES

  • Follow all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Adhere to all festival rules, including entry requirements, age restrictions, and venue policies.
  • Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the festival without a refund.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to festival staff or security immediately.
  • Festival organizers reserve the right to remove any individual who violates this Code of Conduct without warning or refund.

By registering for AACTFest, attendees agree to receive event-related emails from AACT and select event partners (such as sponsors or exhibitors). These communications may include important festival updates, special offers, and information about products or services related to community theatre.
