About AACTFest
AACTFest is the American Association of Community Theatre’s National Community Theatre Festival, bringing together outstanding productions and theatre makers from across the country for performances, workshops, and connection.
Each AACTFest represents the culmination of a two-year journey through AACT’s state and regional festival network. Companies earn their place on the national stage by receiving top recognition in their region, creating a showcase that reflects some of the strongest work happening in community theatre today.
Beyond the performances, AACTFest is also a full festival experience, featuring educational sessions, networking opportunities, social events, and special programs that support theatre artists, administrators, and volunteers at every level.

Adjudicator Nominations
AACT is now accepting nominations for the National AACTFest Adjudication Panel for AACTFest 2027. We are seeking strong, experienced candidates to serve as adjudicators. A total of three main adjudicators and one alternate will be selected.
